Learn the joys of combining printmaking with bookbinding to create your own mini-edition of 7 softcover notebooks! In this 2-day class, students will learn the basics of relief printing, tools, and tips for successful printmaking. Then we will craft these printed papers into a handsome edition of 7 softcover notebooks using a simple, yet attractive stitch. Books will be blank on the inside and feature your prints on the outside. Suitable for crafty beginners, but best for those with a bit of experience in either area.
If you require glasses to see fine details, be sure to bring them. The first day may get a bit messy, you’re welcome to bring a crafting apron or art shirt.
